SERIOUS COLLISION — WITNESS APPEAL #Hwy401 WB west of Courtice Rd #Clarington At approximately 3:51 p.m. today, a passenger vehicle collided with the rear of a stopped commercial motor vehicle (CMV) transport truck that was on the right shoulder awaiting repairs. The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. A passenger sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Le conducteur du camion de transport n’a signalé aucune blessure. La Police provinciale de l’Ontario de Whitby (OPP) mène l’enquête et demande à toute personne ayant été témoin de la collision ou disposant d’images de caméra de bord de communiquer avec l’OPP de Whitby au 905-668-3388, en mentionnant le numéro d’incident E261277693.
