Where is Kentucky?
The Florida attorney general's amicus brief in the NCAA's appeal of Denzel Aberdeen's preliminary injunction has been posted. It is in support of Aberdeen, arguing that the plain language of the bylaw clearly gives him eligibility and that the public interest favors doing so.

Fair. I never get this. It’s very hard.
Trump: "They have a lion, a bear, a snake, and a camel. They say, 'Which one is the snake?' That's question one ... it's a very highly respected test ... very hard."

Where are KY politicos? Will they stand up for Kentuckians?
Here’s the order denying the NCAA’s motion to stay Denzel Aberdeen’s preliminary injunction. Notably, the FL attorney general’s motion to file an amicus brief in support of Aberdeen has been granted. Like Ohio, it appears FL supports class of 2022 athletes playing this season.

An appellate court has again denied the NCAA’s request to stay a preliminary injunction granted in a class of 2022 5 in 5 case.

This is not true.

Former UK player Denzel Aberdeen (now with Florida) remains eligible. Florida COA denies a stay.
The Florida Court of Appeals has denied the NCAA's motion to stay Florida basketball player Denzel Aberdeen's preliminary injunction pending appeal. It did set an expedited briefing schedule, but the stay denial means Aberdeen will remain eligible while the appeal is considered.

The Marion County Lady Knights took an undefeated 28-0 record into state at EKU in 1980. They were felled in the first round (50-45) by Mercy.

NCAA in its appeal at page three suggests it is going to come after institutions that play Bylaw 12 eligible players. It says it has no choice and it doesn't matter if the judge enjoins them from doing so. That's warning. NCAA does what it wants. @samcehrlich @WinterSportsLaw

NCAA has appealed the Kentucky case under RAP (B) and (D), and particularly under (D), claims it will suffer irreparable injury if Class of 2022 athletes play sports. Assigned to a single judge. Extraordinary circumstances" required to grant relief. @samcehrlich @WinterSportsLaw

The NCAA took RAP 20 (B) and 20 (D) appeals today. Their appellate briefs (there are two) (71 pps) are at the link: juryverdicts.net/NCAAAppeal.… NCAA is bringing the spice too at the judge and suggests to all the organization is in a vindictive mood. @samcehrlich @mitw

Back in 1975 the problem was the women in sports is that can't generate any money as explained by Maryland's athletic director. Times have changed.

Will fast pitch softball just be a fad? A lot of schools resisted back in 1995.

Jay Z. Whatever. Who is doing the Charlie Kirk halftime show? Kid Rock would be good again.

This isn't the first time the KHSAA effed up a regional soccer game. They did bigly in 1994 in a way that makes the current Bowling Green debacle look quaint.
Can you believe how the @khsaa blew the call at a regional girls soccer game in Henderson County in '94? I mean blew it completely. This thread is that AMAZING story. It was Halloween Night. Daviess County v. Fort Knox Nikki Wood for D.C. at right. 1~

Easy call. The five Final Fours. You have a decent chance to convert at least one of those into a national championship.
College basketball fans, here's a tough one. You can guarantee your favorite program ONE of these over the next 10 years: A national championship. Five Final Four appearances. Ten straight conference titles. Which are you taking?

Emotions run high at state. In 1984 Johnson Central looked good late (up 5 with 30 seconds to play) before MC Napier reeled off six in a row to win. Morris Hall went through the gamut emotions. March 15, 1984.
