Serebii Update: Pokémon Bank will stop working and being able to connect to Pokémon HOME on February 26th 2027. Pokémon will not be able to stored any longer in it and it cannot connect to Pokémon HOME after that day serebii.net

Apparently Korean and overseas versions of the Generation 4 Pokémon games could trade via the GTS Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the changes that were made to Korean Pokémon were well documented, so I'm trying to find out some more details

Rewritten/"gone" is way too much of an assumption. Game state management is server-side; info is selectively transmitted only if revealed/necessary. They did a pretty good job, tbh. Only downside is no local play, and incentive to not host long-winded 6v6 battles ;)

Fellow rare ball fans, the Master Ball and Apriballs are available in the Infinite Z-A Royale postgame. This is fairly grindy. The game decides the rewards in advance for the next battle, so no save scumming. Safari, Sport, Dream, and Beast Ball are nowhere to be seen, sorry!

LZA has special behavior to keep shiny Pokémon from despawning! This looks to be intentional. The game stashes up to 10 shiny Pokémon and keeps them from despawning if you leave the area. Essentially, nonshinies are rerolled but shinies are not, as you can see here in this clip.

Here are your shiny rates for Legends: Z-A version 1.0.1! Similar to Legends: Arceus, the Shiny Charm is a little stronger at +3 shiny rolls instead of +2 like in other games. I'm sure full odds hunters are glad to know that it's very hard to accidentally boost the shiny rates.

Three of the Mega Stones look to be future Mystery Gift distribution events! The Side Mission data is currently available in game but can't be triggered without the event gift🎁 Both lead to encounters where you can capture special Pokémon with your OT. They cannot be shiny 👀📸

I am unclear on whether Nintendo is unaware that game updates do not have preload protections, and can be extracted even before game release dates...the S1 ZA update contains no romfs data, but full game code is extractable, including ITEMID_ enums for all mega stones lol
