People are travelling like sheep herd from Bidar, Kalaburgi, Yadgir and Raichur to Bangalore. This is everyday story. People are not getting tickets even if they are planning 2 months prior. Run additional trains from Bidar to help these people.

Earlier hardly 1/2 persons use to stay in BLR. Now every village has min 50 people work in Bangalore.Though other cities are near, they r connected well. @VSOMANNA_BJP @KARailway

During weekends, booking tatkal is like winning lottery. People are cursing you all. Being MoS for railways, do something for these cattle class people. They will remember you lifetime.

There is no issue to run additional 2 trains as the line is fully double.

First one after Mangaluru is part of SWR, there is a special train to Delhi and North India for the first time.

We discussed key railway infrastructure and connectivity issues in Dakshina Kannada, including:
• Level crossings between Padil and Subrahmanya Road
• New railway station at Farangipet
• Expediting platform works at Puttur
• Pandeshwar railway crossing
• A railway station close to Mangaluru Airport
These interventions will play a key role in strengthening railway connectivity and improving passenger convenience across the region.
