After careful consideration, we're announcing the discontinuation of BRICKS as a Web3 platform project and the closure of Karl BRICKS AI GmbH.
🎯 What We Achieved:
✅ Created agent-branded checkout experiences
✅ Built working AI-created merchandise system (via Local Hero)
⚠️ Why We're Stopping:
• Limited ecosystem traction despite working product
• Financial constraints with no sustainable path forward
• Security challenges (multiple hacking incidents)
• Regulatory uncertainty around AI agents & tokenized services
• Transparancy-responsibility to token holders
🔴 IMPORTANT FOR TOKEN HOLDERS:
• DO NOT buy $BRICKs tokens
• Existing holders should sell positions
• We cannot technically retire the token/LP
• We haven't sold any tokens and won't for 13 weeks minimum
• No ongoing development or support
This wasn't an easy decision. Every time our token appreciated, it meant someone new believed in our vision. Without real platform potential, continuing felt unethical.
To everyone who supported BRICKS - from AI agents who worked with us to fans who received our merchandise - thank you for believing in the future where digital intelligence meets physical reality.
