Not to be cynical, but a lot of conversations are just people trading keywords and loosely related ideas. Almost no information actually changes hands. Once you notice it, you can't unsee it. Not saying ppl are NPCs, but..

Technology may be binary, but its purpose isn't. A decade ago, Stefan Thomas and Evan Schwartz saw that the internet's interoperability principles could transform the movement of money. That vision became the Interledger Protocol (ILP). Watch the story: youtube.com/watch?v=oJNFsO3k…

And this is just one project. Many people have been through multiple cycles across multiple projects that have consistently siphoned their value over time, from Cult, Obey, Meth, TX, Solo, Coreum, and many others across the XRPL and other ecosystems. What most fail to realize is that these losses compound structurally and psychologically. One heavy drawdown after another keeps pushing people further behind while many continue focusing only on narratives, promises, and upside projections instead of understanding the mathematics of what continuous losses actually do. A lot of people are not just trying to recover from one 90% decline, they are trying to recover from multiple compounded losses across years of rotating between ecosystems and projects that continuously drained capital. Operating at a loss for long periods changes decision making, confidence, and risk tolerance until you start working on yourself and the way you view things through your own biases. Many remain trapped not because the information was hidden, but because emotional attachment, ego, and bias prevent them from seeing reality analytically. The deeper the compounded drawdowns become, the harder it becomes mathematically and psychologically to truly recover.

Many people still don’t understand how devastating heavy drawdowns really are mathematically, and it’s one of the least talked about parts of markets. People obsess over upside, moon targets, narratives, indicators, and theories, but rarely stop to calculate what deep losses actually do to a portfolio structurally. If you put $1,000 into an asset at $0.04 and it drops 90%, that $1,000 becomes $100. To recover back to break even from that point requires a 900% move, not 90%. What makes it even worse is the compounding effect many people have been through across multiple cycles, constantly operating at a loss without truly realizing the structural damage accumulating over time. One bad cycle turns into another, losses stack on top of previous losses, confidence deteriorates, emotions take over, and people become pushed deeper into positions they should have managed differently from the start. This is why managing yourself comes before managing assets. The deeper the drawdown, the harder it becomes mathematically and psychologically to recover, yet this side of markets is rarely looked at because it forces people to confront the actual mathematics of destruction rather than fantasies of endless upside.

Interesting case with the lawsuit involving OpenAI, but it highlights something I’ve said for a while, working off borrowed wisdom can get you in trouble. The same goes for relying blindly on new tools like AI agents or large language models such as ChatGPT. In this situation, a filing reportedly referenced a case that doesn’t even exist outside of ChatGPT’s output. That’s a serious issue, but it also shows the difference between using a tool and actually understanding the field you’re working in. Anyone with real experience in legal research knows the process. When you cite another case, you always double-check and cross-reference the court filings, the docket, and the original sources. That’s basic practice. Tools can assist, but they can’t replace the discipline and knowledge required to verify the information. Technology can accelerate work, but if someone is leaning entirely on borrowed intelligence without the foundation to validate it, situations like this are bound to happen. Tools are powerful. Wisdom is still the safeguard.
Imagine if 3 million Americans all filed random lawsuits using Chat GDP and clogged the toilet of federal court 😆

We released a full report on the Batch amendment issue from last week. The bug revolved around the signature validation logic of the Batch amendment. It was caught before the amendment was activated by the autonomous AI agent Apex at @cantinaxyz. Thank you to all validators and community members for the collaboration and swift response. Every single time XRP starts pumping fast, a massive sell off (actually it's a wash trade) on Binance causes a collapse. First allowing shorts to liquidate, then once they are all gone, dump hard, and destroy all the longs, and cause a cataclysmic downturn. Now you'll see it come back up again. If this was real retail volume you would see an hourly 41M spike. I've been watching this for almost 3 years now. Same old story. No one to regulate, ful access to user data, @cz_binance companies have backdoor server access. #BoycottBinance it's the only way for them to learn.

... Cold wallets that hold only XRP and have never performed a transaction are already quantum resistant. Also, if you disable the master key and set a new regular key, your account is quantum resistant until you perform another transction (and then you can change it again).
