JUST EXPOSED: Albo told Parliament his $6m grant to the golf club in his own seat was to stop raw sewage flowing into the Cooks River. Overnight at Senate estimates, his own Infrastructure Department was asked if the project includes sewerage works. The answer: "It does not include sewerage works." What the FOI brief does list: a clubhouse refurb, bar and alfresco dining upgrades, a new pro shop, a dog walking station and stormwater to water the course. The sewer fix is being paid for by a separate $269,500 NSW Government grant. This is the same club where he held an undeclared honorary membership. The $6.05m came from an invite-only scheme with no competitive process. He also still owns his former family home about 200m from the club, now rented out.
