@LGUSSupport I bought a LG Ultrafine 4k with my MacBook Pro M1 in 2022 and now it has lost red entirely. It is the monitor not the cables, the OS or a particular computer. I did research to find out that this is a known issue so I will never buy LG again 1/2

It would be great if LG would weigh in and opine about what could make a Ultrafine 4k display lose its red channel? I take extra special caution with my hardware and it doesn't make sense @LGUSSupport to let users come to wrong conclusions

some are saying that unplugging the display while the host computer is powered on can do damage to the monitor motherboard. What? that can't be right

2/2 over the past 30 years I have had many Apple monitors, HP, Dell, and Flanders Scientific. I have never had a monitor fail like this with only 3 years of use.
