I also think they'll update it or maybe revert it to the diamond shield! I just wish they'd release Arcane Mel's mage form with the correct gold color palette and forming a dress like TFT did and as legendary skin. That way fans could have both League and Arcane versions!

Riot should keep both Mel's Arcane and Diamond shields for a win-win solution! Arcane: Activates when baseline immunity/protection. Diamond: Triggers visually whenever she blocks a projectile. This honors her lore, pleases both sides and preserves the value of her skins!
