These stats make me weep. I’ve written for TV for 20 years - it’s got worse rather than better. Women are only allowed to write potboilers or period dramas. Thank you @DeborahFW for this article.

#Bancroft thank you all for watching. Thanks to cast and crew @TallStoryPicsuk And the stunning awesome @DrSarahParish any ideas on how we can get her out?
#Bancroft settle down for a major showdown. I loved writing this episode! Huge thanks to @TallStoryPicsuk for finding the best gothic location ever. Who needs Transylvania?
So grateful to everyone on the Bancroft team- wouldn’t have been possible without @TallStoryPicsuk , @BadSheepTV , @BenMMorris , @KathrynShrubb, @edmundbutt , Laurence Gough, and all the brilliant cast and crew
After a season one conclusion that left viewers outraged, #Bancroft writer @KateBrooke2 tells DQ what’s in store for the eponymous rogue cop in season two and why there’s no character like her on TV. Bancroft returns to ITV on January 1, 2020.

Here she is again #Bancroft
She’s back. She’s brilliant. She’s brutal. But she might have met her match. Everything’s to play for in the new series of Bancroft. #bancroft returns to ITV in January. We love making this show. @KateBrooke2 @DrSarahParish youtu.be/nrp7rsERBWA

Congrats @cressidacowell! You will make the most wonderful Children’s Laureate!
So this wonderful thing happened today... I’ve been made the new @Waterstones Children’s Laureate. I believe books and reading are transformative magic and I want that magic to be available to absolutely everyone
And check out the pumpkins...
It all comes to a conclusion THIS Sunday on @AMC_TV and @BBCAMERICA! Don't miss it! 🤭

Congratulations and well deserved. So excited for the return
We are beyond excited to say that we are going back to wonderful Morecambe to film a new series of THE BAY. Thank you to everyone who watched series 1 - we can’t wait for you to find out what we’ve got planned for series 2. #YayTheBay @daraghcarville
#ADiscoveryOfWitches I am wearing this as a badge of honour!
Deb, characterising Meridiana was always something you were so supportive of. Workshopping that idea with you was so much fun !!! 😊
Well, it IS the history! So you can guess who is to blame for the idea. 🤓 But it's the execution that counts and that's all down to actress @ChloeDumasAct, director @alicetroughton, writer @KateBrooke2, and the whole team at @ADiscoveryOfWTV. #TeamMeridiana

Horrified that you have to deal with this. You have spent your entire career saving lives. Quite right to call it out.
Check out this interview. @ADiscoveryOfWTV is a wonderful show to talk about. An honour to adapt @DebHarkness
I will be talking about this fabulous interview with @KateBrooke2 today on Facebook Live!
