We had a packed house tonight at our Corona campaign headquarters for our get-out-the-vote rally with @realBrandonGill. I also appreciate Assemblywomen Natasha Johnson and Kate Sanchez speaking, and the many local leaders in attendance. Together, we’re letting voters know the importance of making their voices heard in this election and voting Ken Calvert for Congress!

Let me get this straight… California families are working harder than ever just to stay afloat. Homes are out of reach. Groceries, gas and childcare keep getting more expensive. Small businesses are fighting to keep their doors open. Meanwhile, California continues spending your taxpayer dollars on benefits for people here illegally. And somehow, there’s never enough money for the hardworking families footing the bill? Enough is enough. We can treat people with compassion, enforce our laws AND demand accountability for how our tax dollars are spent. California families deserve to be heard. Our state. Our tax dollars. Our future. It’s time to speak up. And show up. Is this how you want your hard earned money being spent?
EXCLUSIVE: California has created a shadow welfare system for illegal aliens. Free housing, cash, healthcare, food, phones, college tuition, even car insurance—costing taxpayers more than $10 billion per year. We went inside the system and exposed it all.

Women fought for decades for a level playing field. Our daughters deserve one too. Protect women’s sports. Period.

Everyone wants to talk about the AI boom. I want to talk about what it takes to power it and who pays the price. There is no question that we want California competing and leading in technology. But data centers can require enormous amounts of electricity, water, and new grid infrastructure. How much water will they use? Who pays for the infrastructure? What are the health and environmental impacts? Why are NDAs being used in negotiations that could affect a community’s water, power, and infrastructure? And are local communities being heard before (not after) decisions are made? I’m pro-technology and pro-innovation. But I’m also a mom who cares about what comes out of our faucets, what our kids breathe, and what shows up on the family utility bill. We can lead in AI without leaving families to pick up the tab. What would you want answered before a data center is built in your community?

YOUR TAX DOLLARS PAID FOR THIS. Investigators found California High-Speed Rail improperly reimbursed travel tied to a gym, nightclub, a cigar lounge and even private planes. Taxpayers aren’t an ATM. I want receipts, accountability and every improperly spent dollar accounted for.

The system doesn’t get to fail our most vulnerable kids, then try to insulate itself from justice. No on SB577 @crimesurvivors

Riverside County is growing fast, and our infrastructure has to keep up. Our communities are doing their part to accommodate that growth. Government should be expected to do its job, too. This is the kind of practical, common-sense solution Californians deserve.

California families are being squeezed by some of the highest energy costs in the country, and enough is enough. I’m joining Senator Tony Strickland in calling for the immediate resignation of every member of the California Energy Commission. Unelected bureaucrats shouldn’t be making decisions that drive up the cost of getting to work, keeping the lights on, and providing for our families without being held accountable. Californians deserve affordable energy and leaders who understand the real-world consequences of their decisions. It’s time for accountability.

Sacramento is at it again. AB 884 would restrict law enforcement from making certain arrests within 200 feet of a polling place on Election Day — creating yet another barrier for officers trying to do their jobs. We can protect every Californian’s right to vote without tying the hands of law enforcement. Elections need integrity. Our communities need accountability. We shouldn’t have to sacrifice one for the other. I’m urging my colleagues to vote NO on AB 884.

AB 1421 moves California closer to a statewide mileage tax — another potential cost just to get to work, take your kids to school, or care for loved ones. Californians are taxed enough. Make your voice heard. Contact your legislators and tell them: NO mileage tax. NO new driving costs. NO on AB 1421.

Meet termed-out politician Nancy, she’s a radical extremist politician who Gov Newsom appointed to a cushy 200k salaried commissioner position and has decided to focus on making life more unaffordable however she can: today’s goal: drive up the cost of tires by limiting supply. Pretty soon you’ll need a loan just to replace your tires…
The California Energy Commission dusted off a 20+ year old bill to pass new rules restricting tire sales in the state. The CEC has not regulated tires before. I asked Commissioner (former State Sen) Nancy Skinner if she pushed it & why this sat dormant until now.
