A breath test for pancreatic cancer could be a vital step forward to improve early detection and save lives. After 50 years of little progress, we really are now starting to see improvements in the detection and treatment of this devastating disease. Such an exciting time 💜💜
We're thrilled to announce that we've awarded @profgeorgehanna and his team at @imperialcollege @imperialsandc further funding to take the #PancreaticCancer breath test @IC_VAPOR_Study into the next stage of development. Find out more: bit.ly/3JwN2JU

So great to see the launch of this new case-finding pilot from @NHSEngland which @PancreaticCanUK have helped develop. New onset diabetes is the largest at-risk group for #PancreaticCancer so there is a huge opportunity here to improve early detection and save lives. 💜
Early detection of #PancreaticCancer saves lives, which is why we're delighted @NHSEngland are investing in a new initiative that aims to identify people with a new diagnosis of diabetes who may also have pancreatic cancer. Here, @A_BBearfield tells us more about this new pilot.

Thanks so much for coming to see us @lucysian248 and for your really interesting talk. Lots of potential to improve the early detection of #PancreaticCancer by monitoring at-risk groups such as people with new-onset or worsening diabetes, excited to see how this progresses! 💜👩‍🔬
Yesterday we were delighted to welcome @lucysian248 to our office where she gave a brilliant presentation to staff on her research focused on identifying people with new-onset diabetes who may also have #PancreaticCancer. Thanks so much for taking the time to join us!

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. But people with #PancreaticCancer deserve more than just hope. Stand with us: bit.ly/3AtObgV

It was great to spend the last few days in Brighton at the #LibDemConf speaking to MPs and party members about #PancreaticCancer and how they can help us improve survival rates for the deadliest common cancer. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand!
Goodbye, Brighton! Thanks to all the Liberal Democrat MPs and delegates who visited us @LibDemConf. We can’t wait to start working together to drive forward progress for people with #PancreaticCancer. Next, we’ll be heading to Liverpool for Labour Party Conference.

Great to be at the @LibDemConf in Brighton for the next few days raising awareness of #PancreaticCancer and the less survivable cancers, and how the government can help us change things for people affected by this devastating disease.
More than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within three months. Thank you to @AndrewGeorge_ who dropped by to chat to Katherine @libdemconf to find out how we can work together to change this. #LDConf
