Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmer Hazem Jbara while he was harvesting olives near Marj Sia Road in the occupied West Bank, forcing him and international activists to flee after settlers attempted to surround them from two directions.
Jbara managed to collect only half a bag of olives in just 10 minutes before the attack.
“This is what we are willing to die for as Palestinians,” he said.
Palestinian farmers face growing dangers during the olive harvest season as settler attacks threaten their lives and prevent them from accessing their land.
