The life of a nursery head... This week I have been mostly racing little wooden bikes that are too small for me down a slope, picking up play dough that's been trodden on and coloured in a Mickey mouse picture all the wrong colours (directed by a child obvs!) #earlyyearsleader
7/10 not bad! Need to check my #highwaycode though 🙈

We pay more per hour for our dogs to be looked after than we do for our children to be cared for, nurtured and educated.
Hourly rate below
Dog walker/carer £15 per hour
Nursery Professional 8.50-11.80 per hour
Parents should be outraged, we all should be outraged at this.
I'd love some inspiration for safeguarding notice boards in #earlyyears please.

My new school doesn't have a tag line and I'm wondering if it would be a useful activity to do during INSET but I'm interested to know what you all think about tag lines... TIA #earlyearsleadership #newheadteacher #insetideas

Yesterday I said goodbye to my school of 15 years. I was well and truly humbled by the kind words, cards and gifts from the wonderful community and am looking forward to my next chapter as Headteacher of a maintained Nursery 👩🏼🏫 @AvonmouthHead @Headteacherchat @SBL_Avonmouth
