Bible scholars in the 1800s compared the book of Psalms to an apothecary shop full of medicines. Every psalm is a unique and miraculous remedy, with no side effects! I’m so grateful for my Bible. God’s words are my source of joy, comfort, peace, correction, encouragement and joy.

The issues of women in leadership is not a minor or marginal one. It profoundly affects the sense of identity and worth on both sides of the gender line; and, if wrongly grasped, it restricts the resources for blessing, through the church, upon an appallingly needy world.

What Makes Good Friday Good?
God, through his most precious possession — His Son — descended to the lowest depths of human sin and suffering to bring the love of God there.

Keep praying for this little nugget! Her fever came back last night and she was feeling rough. She’s been asleep since 9:30 last night. #prayforhope

Hey - if you hear someone claim they're going to "move heaven and earth," ask them, "how are you going to move heaven? How are you accessing the power of Heaven and are imagining you direct the God of heaven to do your will?"
Opposite: "Thy will be done on earth as in heaven"

My greatest joy is investing in the next generation. I want them to surpass me. I want my ceiling to be their floor. This is why Jesus knelt in front of His disciples and washed their feet. He got under them and served. This is what the church needs today—sacrificial leadership.
Amen!
As far as I am aware #AmyConeyBarret is the first Spirit-empowered believer on the US Supreme Court as a Charismatic Catholic. Our prayers are with her as she brings God’s presence to the bench in a fresh way. Brilliant lady with a great family. @empowered21

Reflecting this morning on the great day of prayer in D.C. this past Saturday with two large prayer events and thousands of believers asking for God's help, worshipping and prophesying over our nation. Deep humility and prayer will turn the tide. May God hear our cry!

“It is Finished” - Jesus
“Atonement achieved.
Amends accomplished.
Satisfaction made.
Guilt done away.
Debt paid.
Sins Forgiven.
Person Redeemed.
Soul saved.
Hell vanquished.
Heaven opened.
Eternity secured.”

All of that....and more...IS FINISHED. 🙏🏽

Paul wrote Philippians while he was under house arrest. He was in quarantine, basically. Yet this “epistle of joy” is full of hope for the future. Paul said: “I press on toward the goal...” There is so much ahead after this crisis is over! Read Philippians and reset your joy.

Hannah’s prayers birthed a prophet. Abraham’s prayers saved Lot’s family. Esther’s prayers stopped a genocide. Elijah’s prayers brought fire from heaven. Daniel’s prayers released mercy to a nation. Never underestimate the power of one person’s prayers!

“Remember, we are not fighting for victory - we are fighting from victory. Because the truth is the victory in the life we’re living today has already been won. It was won by Jesus Christ when He took your sins and my sins and He went to the cross.”

“In the time of his distress, this same King Ahvaz became yet more unfaithful to the Lord” (2 Chron. 28:22). Let this not be said about the leaders and people of America in our time of distress.
My prayer :
Father God, as we recognize who You are and who we are, we stand in awe of You. We are amazed You allow us to approach You and touch You with the feelings of our infirmities. Thank You that You are no longer just the consuming fire on the top of a mountain.
