Angel Reese is putting together one of the most historic debut playoff runs in WNBA history.
Following tonight’s game, Reese now holds the records for the most rebounds, steals, and blocks in a player’s first postseason run. She also ranks fourth in scoring ⤵️
156 PTS: The fourth-most points scored in a player’s debut playoff run, trailing only Cappie Pondexter (215), Diana Taurasi (179), and Seimone Augustus (176).
82 REB: Surpassed Cheryl Ford for the most rebounds recorded in a player’s debut playoff run.
14 STL: Surpassed Taurasi and Mwadi Mabika for the most steals recorded in a player’s debut playoff run.
14 BLK: Surpassed Candace Parker for the most blocks recorded in a player’s debut playoff run.

If Angel was a “bum” the last 2 years, and went to a “better” team that’s now in the Finals…how come Angel “the bum” is the best player on the “better” team?

Daily reminder that Angel being drafted #7 was about politics, but I’m glad it all worked out in the end because she’s right where she’s meant to be.

imagine dealing with angel all game giving you hell just for her rookie to come in and work you as well and she still calling you a bum even on the bench 😂

Izzy Borlase just turned 22 and is showing off her other skills beyond just a 3-point specialist. Dream, already with 3 great guards, may have another future guard gem on their hands.
