So, I saw her this evening and politely confronted her about the blender I lent her that stopped working. Before I could even finish speaking, she became defensive and insisted that the blender’s motor didn’t spoil while it was with her.
I simply said, “Okay, no problem,” and quietly walked away.
One thing is certain: next time she asks to borrow anything from me, she already knows my answer. 😌
My neighbour borrowed my electric blender three days ago to blend pepper and promised to return it immediately after use. She only returned it yesterday evening and apologised for the delay.
This morning, when NEPA brought light around 5 a.m., I brought out my tomatoes and pepper to blend, only to discover that she had burnt the blender’s motor. 😭
Now, I don’t know whether to confront her or let it go and never lend her anything again. What would you do?

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and highly driven Videographer & Video Editor with the ability to take a production from concept development to final delivery.
Please note: This is a full-time, on-site, 9 AM – 5 PM employment opportunity. It is NOT a freelance position, contract gig, or project-based engagement. We are looking for someone who will join our team and work with us on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise and develop creative ideas for video productions.
Handle end-to-end video production, from pre-production planning to final delivery.
Shoot high-quality videos for social media, documentaries, interviews, events, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
Edit and produce professional videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Handle colour grading, sound design, transitions, motion graphics, and other post-production requirements.
Develop storyboards, scripts, and shot lists where necessary.
Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment.
Create engaging content optimised for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
Work with the creative and marketing teams to translate ideas into compelling visual stories.
Manage production timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in videography and professional video editing.
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or other creative tools is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, and sound.
Ability to independently manage a production from idea to execution and final output.
Creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong storytelling skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
The Ideal Candidate
We need someone who is creative, proactive, disciplined, and passionate about visual storytelling. Someone who can take an idea, develop a concept, organise the production, shoot, edit, and deliver a polished final product with minimal supervision.
