This is gonna be a long post! I’ll be honest, I didn’t give much thought on how to “reveal” this so I’m just gonna get into it. I’ve been a Soppo fan (slightly) longer than I’ve been into Girls’ Frontline, and therefore longer than I’ve known anyone reading this. I’ve always thought the Block II and Soppo were cool but ever since I saw Fury Tomic’s video on them I’ve absolutely loved them and at this point I can’t remember if I liked the gun or the doll first, if it even matters. That’s the starting point of how I got into this series and ended up meeting so many cool people and especially great friends because of it. Most of you know this account because of the ritual post I make every Saturday and while I’ve dubbed myself the CEO of SOPMOD/Soppo Saturday, I’ve honestly felt like kind of a poser because I didn’t actually own my raifu’s gun despite it being my responsibility as an American GFL fan, and having the fortune and privilege of her being relatively easy to obtain. Well I don’t need to worry about that anymore because I finally got my hands on a Block II upper this past week. Some of you may know that I’ve been planning for a couple years to get this once I finished my bachelor’s degree, but since I only have a single exam left and I needed a catalyst for her release tomorrow, I went ahead and got it a little early. I’ve dubbed this rifle Sophie and I am extremely happy to own her. TL/DR: I have a Block II now! Sorry if you thought this whole thing was gonna be something cooler but I wanted to do something fun for Soppo’s actual release. Let me see your Soppo/Block II builds!
