Addressing speculation about an early election for the past several months, my response has been, "I doubt it, unless the RCMP is about to execute a search warrant on the Premier's offices which is, of course, a distinct possibility with this crew."

.@CarrieTait thank you for your investigative journalism. Democracy works best when journalists can shine the light on what matters.
Money laundering investigation of high ranking, Alberta government officials. This could be unprecedented.

this might genuinely be the greatest photograph in human history. the delicate balance between light and darkness, the peaceful beauty of the natural world, and the unsettling realisation that something ancient and deeply unnatural is always watching through the trees

The people who have control of the APP’s social media would like you to know they have control of their social media…
Or something.
Anyways, the slow motion car crash continues!

OFFICIAL PUBLIC STATEMENT
Alberta Prosperity Project
October 26, 2026
RE: Clarification Regarding APP Social Media Accounts and Official Communications
The Alberta Prosperity Project (APP) wishes to address a notice currently circulating on social media alleging that the organization's official social media accounts are being operated without authorization from its Board of Directors.
We firmly dispute these allegations and reject the suggestion that APP's established social media accounts are being operated by unauthorized individuals. The central conflict here is that separate groups believe they are legally entitled to govern the organization. They are not. Our posts and emails are not “fake”, the issue lies in the fact that the other factions do not respect the current governing body of APP.
The Alberta Prosperity Project's social media platforms continue to be managed by the dedicated communications team and individuals who have been actively working with and on behalf of APP's established leadership, including CEO and Chairman Mitch Sylvestre.
These are the same individuals who have contributed to the organization's communications, public engagement, educational initiatives, provincial campaigns, and ongoing operations. Their work has been carried out in coordination with the leadership responsible for building and advancing the Alberta Prosperity Project.
We wish to reassure our members, volunteers, supporters, and the general public that APP's established social media accounts remain actively managed by the team responsible for the organization's ongoing communications.
As outlined in Mitch Sylvestre's official statement released October 24, 2026, internal disagreements have recently been brought into the public eye. While these matters are being addressed, APP remains committed to resolving disputes professionally, respectfully, and through appropriate channels.
We recognize that conflicting public statements can create unnecessary confusion and uncertainty among those who have placed their trust in this organization.
Our priority is to provide clarity, maintain transparency, and ensure our members and supporters continue to receive reliable information through APP's established communication channels.
We encourage members and supporters to refer to Mitch Sylvestre's October 24 statement for additional context regarding the current situation.
The Alberta Prosperity Project remains committed to its mission, its members, and the Albertans who have supported its work.
For the Love of Alberta,
Alberta Prosperity Project

IT"S OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL!
With 100% of the votes counted, 3 things are pretty clear!
#1 - The overwhleming majority of Albertans are proud Canadians!
#2 - Albertans are a lot less Xenophobic than Smith banked on
#3 - Albertans know Smith needs federal oversight.

We have just emailed all households with a lawn sign, asking that you hold onto them.
If the Premier doesn’t trigger another referendum, they make great souvenirs or Canada Day signs.

Trump: “We signed an agreement about two weeks ago.”
FACT: The United States, Denmark and Greenland signed the agreement on September 22, 2026 — more than a month ago.
FACT: Your own signature confirms that:
🇬🇱 Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The United States recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark.
The Greenlandic people have the right to self-determination under international law.
The agreement concerns defence and security cooperation within NATO — not a transfer of sovereignty.
FINAL FACT: The United States does NOT own Greenland. It never has, and signing a defence agreement did not change that.
You signed it yourself, Donald. Perhaps you should read what you signed.
