Until every single school facilitates things exactly like this nothing will change for neurodivergent pupils. How many schools will do it?
By understanding & embracing neurodiversity, we’re not just supporting neurodivergent pupils, we’re enriching our entire community. Our comprehensive package of staff training & assembly resources provide the basis for lasting cultural change bit.ly/AGNSchoolsTrg

A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright. 🎬 by Will Warr

This is the reason we are here, to work towards future generations not relating to this quote in the way that so many of us now do.  Support our work here - bit.ly/agndonate #Autistic #Neurodivergent

Replying to @ShelaghFogarty
@ShelaghFogarty the late Cesar Manrique a Canarian artist campaigned successful to stop tourism ruining Lanzarote with over building, high rise hotels. He would stand in front of bulldozers. He succeeded and the architecture of the island is all down to him.

A lot more to his story but tourism is good but not when greed is involved as it is now

100%! Neurodivergent people have to deal with an incredible amount of stress and trauma every single day that a neurotypical person never will. Resilience for autistic people is a toxic word, basically saying out up with it!
In a world full of systems designed for neurotypical people, Autistic people don’t need to work on their resilience. Some are already hugely more resilient than their peers by just getting through the day. Our blog post explains more - bit.ly/AGNresil  #Autism

Maybe, instead of National Service for 18 year olds they should introduce national service for MPs. They all have to do several weeks volunteering in a school, GP, hospital, care home, social care and police within their first 12 months in office.
