The Roman Virtues and our failings against them, laid out exceptionally well by the honorable John Leake. If we offer these broad personal and community goals with the tenets from Catholic Social Teaching and other moral frameworks from Christianity, we have what we need to invigorate a movement to restore an American civic nationalism. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel

This creates an enormous opportunity for us to build a relevant, youth-first Republican Party. What do they care about? Start here.
1. Corruption. Young people disdain the smell of it while older people tolerate it (because many of them also engage in it).
2. War and peace. They want the latter because they do the fighting and dying.
3. Opportunity
4. Love and happiness

I think I know why the Blue Tsunami occurred yesterday.
In 1992, while in training to become a family therapist we were asked a question. Why do people have children? If my memory serves me correctly, the most popular answer among the trainees was: To find happiness. The correct answer of course is: to contribute to my family, my community, my faith, and my nation. That's why I did it. Throughout the past 34 years, I have encountered very few people who reflected the true calling of parenthood until I met the traditional Catholics in North Idaho. How refreshing. I was correct.

Similar interest is emerging in Sweden and Denmark.
The Catholic Church now counts around 406,000 members across the five Nordic countries, although immigration, particularly from Poland, accounts for much of its wider growth.
In societies where religion has become increasingly optional, some young people are actively CHOOSING the traditions their grandparents' generation moved away from.
And the Church is now trying to figure out how to welcome them all.
