The #Sixers are forever in the Thunder's debt. They took on the Al Horford contract and played well enough last year for their pick to convey and allow the Sixers to draft Tyrese Maxey.

I'm pumped to have Kevin on board. Good dude. And talented writer.
Admire his first love in basketball - and glad he's jumping back into baseball.
Truth be told, I understand Kevin's passion for hoops, as he was courtside as a young pup witnessing Slim, Bones and I winning city championships in basketball.
Which begs the question: is there a group of 3 Phillies podcasters that can beat @RedCornerPhils in 3v3 basketball?

Kevin is an OG Flat Iron head. IYKYK.
Excited to have him writing for us. He’ll be featured in our second edition next week, so keep an eye out.
And yes… baseball > basketball

Bit of a logjam at PF for Utah now with Lauri and JJJ…could be a precursor of Lauri being dealt to Detroit?
Bryce Harper said in the offseason that he’d be willing to move back to the outfield for a power-hitting first baseman.
The Phillies could, and should, check in on Rhys Hoskins at the deadline.

Ace Bailey certainly has the higher ceiling of the two but I really like Tre Johnson for the Sixers at No. 3.
Injury reports are so long tomorrow’s game might have to get played under Unrivaled format 😂

Absurd quote about a 5-time All-NBA player who is a year removed from leading the franchise to the finals.
Mavs owner Patrick Dumont:
“If you look at the greats in the league, the people you and I grew up with — Jordan, Bird, Kobe, Shaq — they worked really hard, everyday with a singular focus to win. And if you don’t have that, it doesn’t work… You shouldn’t be apart of the Dallas Mavericks.”
