It’s quite astonishing how this very particular subset of people who seem to be involved in the sport in some capacity are almost always utterly clueless about a very basic principle upheld in every single stadium
Game hasn’t started yet and Lionel Messi / Inter Miami CF fans already arguing with Sports Illustrated Stadium staff about being denied entry into the South Ward (Red Bull New York supporters group sections).

I promise you — even 2/3 full, Orlando's home stadium is the loudest one in American soccer. I have always, always felt that way. By a wide margin, btw... Have to think it has to do w/angle of stands, roofs, etc.

The supporters have been vocal about the importance of Open Cup all season. In conversations with the team and players, it was not a secret how much we value Open Cup.
This performance tonight was not just disappointing but unacceptable. Lack of effort, lack of care, whatever it may have been, but a token acknowledgement of midweek traveling supporters as you head to the locker room is pitiful.
"Open Cup is the expectation" was something we heard time and time again, but it appears the players either didn't hear that too, or just chose to ignore it.
