Boy oh boy the Timberwolves are a lot of fun

It's not just that Jayson Tatum had an awful game. It's that Ausar Thompson had an unbelievable game. Thompson is the best perimeter defender in the NBA. He makes your life hell every single possession. And he certainly made life hell on Tatum and the Celtics.

I love the 3PM start time. MLB does it. Why not NBA? But the league scheduled only 15 weekday afternoon matinees all season long. All of the others are on holidays or international, other than today and Friday's rescheduled Bucks-Bulls game. I hope for more in the years to come.

Crazy to see Boston’s surplus of 3-point shooting contrasted with Detroit’s lack of 3-point shooting. Celtics also have so many more sources of shot creation. Just on a different tier from the Pistons.
