Tanzania remains firmly committed to the two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and harmony in accordance with international law and relevant UN resolutions. We reaffirm the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and believe that lasting peace must guarantee dignity, security, and legitimate aspirations of both peoples. We have been consistent on this for the past 50 years. For us, this is a matter of our foreign principles.”
