This is exactly what’s wrong with this world.
Handouts. You have people who bust their ass in life and you have people who are able to work but choose to get food stamps, housing and don’t work. Same thing here.
Not saying there aren’t people who don’t actually need the help but majority don’t. And that is what’s going on here.
I’ve spent the last two days scrolling through every single post I see of people who are getting this. Majority barely post content and a lot of them just posted a month ago or so their metrics for verification and haven’t met it. (See pics) and you have people that are coming back after not streaming for months because you’ve them BOTH verification and kpp. Here @kick is handing out not only verification but kpp. Receiving both is kick in the nuts for anyone who is “OG” and received their metrics the right way. It’s absolute bullshit. @crashoverride and @The_Joker are always spot on with the bullshit. Speaking of “OG” where’s the cut off. Cause a lot of these “OG” people started in May/June of 2023 and are receiving this shit. That’s like me applying for a job doing the bare minimum and expecting a raise or promotion while others worked their ass off to get where they are. A lot of ass kissing is we too from other kick phase partners saying great job well deserved. Nothing is a great job they did the bare minimum barely put in the work. You guys need to reevaluate this shit. @BOBO_KICK may have the time to be a hype man for tons of creators great love it man deserves this opportunity but he presses the go live listed as “content creator” on X. Where’s the content.
The idea is there but the handouts should be reevaluated. I think it can be a great push for people but give them verification first not both. It’s a kick in the nuts for actual people putting in work

We've been listening to the feedback that is going around on socials, and what we've heard when Ed and I have been live on KICK Talk - so I wanted to give everyone an update on what we've done about it.
First one was that we weren't featuring enough people and the front page was a little too static and sticky for creators that were featured for extended periods of time. Our feature team has pushed hard on this, working with our account management and partnerships teams, and we've now featured over 3,000 creators over the last two weeks.
Second was around our homegrown and loyal creators. The ones who've been grinding with us for ages but haven't quite hit the metrics to get partnered and monetised. We went through the data (and jumped in a lot of chats) and we're partnering over 100 creators immediately. If that includes you, you'll be getting an email from us over the next 24 hours.
We know it's not a perfect science and data can't drive all decisions so if you feel like you should have been included and have been rocking with us for years? We're talking 2-3 years streaming on KICK and close to achieving partner, but if you're not quite there we may be able to help with that final push. OGs deserve to be acknowledged by the platforms they helped build.
