I mean, one thing I find personally is some artists who want to make games don't play a lot of games. You often have the opposite problem with game makers who don't have wide interests to read/watch/dance/etc

There is music there. The whole scene is scored.

In 2010 I asked Mark Essen (@messhof) why he made games that are painful to play. He said he used to get sick making them, then got used to it.
Blood Dungeon, out since August, was mostly animated on a $50 tablet in the car.
