oh wait, there is no ‘everyone’, in fact there is NO ONE to wish happy new year to from either of these 2 islands as they are both completely uninhabited. Baker Island & Howland Island are the furthest away territories of the USA 🇺🇸. They were claimed way back in 1856 & in 1974 they were officially designated a protected area, a strict nature reserve by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).
🎉 This is officially when & where the year 2023 ends. Come on 2024, let’s see what you’ve got!!
