We were delighted to welcome the Qatari Police Academy band to Erskine Edinburgh last week, where they performed a selection of their Edinburgh Tattoo set for our residents.
The band stuck around afterwards to mingle and chat with delighted residents and families 🎵

Pat and Tam, two of our Erskine Edinburgh residents, recently enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh Castle with some of our care team. It was a particularly special trip for Tam, who previously worked at the castle during his time serving with The Royal Scots 🏴
Today I attended a Hustings at RCN Scotland’s HQ. Disappointed that the specialism of care home nursing was not mentioned.
How do we remove barriers and stereotypes if our own Government representatives do not recognise the value of social care nursing?
