After border officials turned me back from the West Bank last week, I spent a few hours on Mount Nebo. It is where Moses is said to have looked out across the land he was never allowed to enter.
That view feels personal today. Millions of Palestinians are still denied entry to the towns and villages their families came from.
What happens here reaches far beyond these borders. Allowing any state to strip people of their basic rights without consequence erodes human rights protections for everyone.
