di.se/mobil/nyheter/ryssland… Interesting article. Yet it is unclear whether Putin’s idea is to split Germany again and put Eastern Germany back under russian supervision. #DDR #Stasi #Mauer #Mauerbau #BerlinWall #SED

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries. We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!

Russia is everybody’s enemy. And not by our choice.
When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations. Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult. Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth. From a speech at the Warsaw Security Forum. (3/3)

How long will the German „Soli“ tax for the former „DDR“ (the part of Germany occupied by Russia until 1989) still exist? I am getting tired of all the many old communists complaining about good old times and living from our hard earned money.

I laughed a lot. Until it mentioned their refunding for cancelled flights. I still have 2 of those unrefunded. For one whole year. Only around 200 €, but still not ok.
This AI Ryanair parody is one of the best things you’ll see today… because it’s so close to reality 🤣 Honestly, I can’t stop laughing 😆 Credit to British Brainrot

Hypothetical question: If a President of the USA is a secret Russian asset, what would he do to help Russia? ChatGPT: Interesting thought experiment—and a useful way to think about incentives and power. If someone in that position were secretly acting in another country’s interest, the key wouldn’t be dramatic, obvious betrayals. It would be subtle, deniable, and cumulative. First, they’d likely undermine alliances quietly. The United States’ biggest strategic advantage is its network—especially NATO. So instead of openly pulling out, they might question its value, delay commitments, create distrust among members, or signal unreliability. Even small cracks weaken collective defense. Second, they could shift foreign policy in ways that benefit Russia without looking extreme. That might mean softening sanctions, slowing military aid to countries Russia opposes (like Ukraine), or reframing conflicts to reduce U.S. involvement. None of that needs to look like “helping Russia”—just “putting America first.” Third, damage internal cohesion. A divided country is less effective abroad. Amplifying polarization, discrediting institutions (courts, elections, intelligence agencies), or constantly creating internal crises reduces the ability of the U.S. to act strategically. That’s something adversaries historically benefit from. Fourth, reshape leadership and bureaucracy. Appointing people who are inexperienced, loyal over competent, or sympathetic to certain narratives can gradually shift how decisions are made. Over time, that changes policy outcomes without needing explicit orders. Fifth, control the narrative. Public opinion matters in democracies. Repeating talking points that align with Russian interests—questioning support for allies, portraying adversaries of Russia as corrupt or unworthy—can steer public sentiment in a favorable direction. Finally, they’d avoid anything blatantly illegal or provable. The whole strategy would depend on plausible deniability. If it’s obvious, it fails. The big picture: influence at that level isn’t about one shocking act—it’s about slowly tilting the system so that, over time, outcomes consistently benefit the other side.

Let us discuss this. It sounds very reasonable.
The world's democracies are being targeted one by one. That has to stop. China has imposed trade boycotts on Australia, Lithuania, South Korea and Canada. Each time, the target stood alone. Each time, it worked. The answer is not self-sufficiency. It is collective action. Today I launch After the Rupture: An alliance of middle-power democracies led by a D-7: seven democracies representing 30% of the global economy, acting together on trade, technology, critical minerals and defence. Not a new institution. A coalition of the willing, and the able. Full paper → shorturl.at/33GOA

Germany’s new military strategy is clear and commended. It focuses on the Russian threat. Berlin recognizes that Moscow is preparing for confrontation with NATO and is already conducting a hybrid campaign to destabilize and harm European countries.

Finally clear words that everybody can understand. It is good to see the moral compass again. Thank you!
Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace

Bravo!

He has valid points. I can only hope that one day US americans wake up and understand who is leading their country and how little of the US will be soon left.
When I travel outside of Ukraine, I get daily intelligence updates online. This morning, I was briefed that U.S. military facilities in the Middle East and the Gulf region were photographed by Russian satellites in the interests of Iran. On March 24th, they imaged the U.S.–UK joint military facility on Diego Garcia located in the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. They also captured pictures of Kuwait International Airport and parts of the infrastructure of the Greater Burgan oil field. On March 25th, they took pictures of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Shaybah oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia, İncirlik Air Base in Türkiye, and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar were all imaged on March 26th. There are no Ukrainian facilities on this list. But who is helping whom when sanctions are lifted from an aggressor that earns daily revenue and provides intelligence for strikes against American, Middle Eastern, UK, and U.S.–UK bases and so on? When surveillance is carried out over facilities in Ukraine, we always understand that they must be protected, since plans are in motion to destroy them – energy and water infrastructure, military facilities, and so on. Everyone knows that repeated reconnaissance indicates preparations for strikes. How can sanctions be eased if this is what the Russians are doing? There must be pressure on the aggressor. And lifting sanctions is certainly not pressure. It looks strange. Sanctions are being lifted, while the aggressor is providing intelligence to strike facilities, including those of the countries that are discussing or have already lifted sanctions. From my conversation with journalists (3/3).

Persian gulf: water 25°C, air temperature 25-30°C, humidity 60-80%, pm2.5 around 40myg/m3, pm10 around 200myg/m3 plus 40 cm high waves. Ask a radar officer for the probability of detecting small (iranian) boats that change speed all the time. NATO did not build ships for this.

Very important ! A lot of hype happens about Tesla’s “self driving”. There are 5 levels 1 - 5 of self driving. Tesla uses SAE Level 2. That means: The driver is FULLY responsible for any action the car takes. Every accident. Every death. It is NOT full self driving. Comments?

Replying to @grok
@Grok please verify. Of true: I find it hard to believe that Putin is putting Trump down so openly. Even more unbelievable that his US voters still see him as the new Jesus.
BREAKING: Putin publicly HUMILIATES Trump hours after he claimed the Russian dictator was "impressed" by his war moves in Iran! Just hours after Donald Trump bragged that Vladimir Putin was "impressed" by his "moves" in Iran during their phone call, the Kremlin dropped a humiliating reality check that exposes Trump's spin as pure deluded fiction. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed that Trump didn't even mention a ceasefire in Ukraine – directly contradicting his claim that he urged Putin to "get the Ukraine-Russia war over with." Instead, Putin proposed ways for Russia to mediate and "ease tensions" in Trump's own Iran disaster, positioning the Kremlin as the grown-up in the room. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov piled on the mockery, stressing that Trump initiated the hour-long call (not the other way around) and describing it as "frank and constructive" – then slyly suggested the two leaders had "missed each other." Oof! Twist that knife, Dmitri. Peskov called Trump's post-call float of easing Russian oil sanctions a "coincidence," and offered no denial when asked if Moscow is helping Iran target U.S. positions. Trump told reporters it was a "very good call" where Putin "offered help" in the Middle East and they discussed the "tremendous hatred" between Putin and Zelenskyy. But the Kremlin's version makes Trump look desperate: begging for a chat with his authoritarian idol, getting schooled on his own war, and coming away with nothing but public embarrassment. This is peak Trump foreign policy failure: his "strongman" buddy is treating him like a needy ex. Nothing says 'master negotiator' like getting publicly pantsed by Putin hours after bragging he was 'impressed.' 😆 If Putin's public slap-down of Trump, revealing he initiated the call and they "missed each other,” has you shaking your head at the sheer fantasy world the man lives in, like and share to spread the mockery.
