Really excited to welcome multi award winning author Tamsin Winter into our school tomorrow, in collaboration with @kibworthbooks to give our young people a talk on her latest book ‘I Dare You’ @KibMeadAcad #teentalks
Whether it is cheering on our #NCrquiz2025 teams or diving into stories in class, reading is a passion we all share @KibMeadAcad . Good luck from the whole of our school to our 2 teams taking part in the @Literacy_Trust @ALCS_UK tomorrow. Good Luck!
Very exciting day ahead. We have a VIP author visiting us @DanFreedman99 to talk to our year 7s.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Whilst in @kibworthbooks, I was very fortunate to meet author A.M. Dassu @a_reflective as she was conducting guest bookselling as part of #IndieBookshopWeek. Pop in and see Debbie and Kirsty @kibworthbooks, you never know who else you may meet! @DrPThompson @KibMeadAcad
We are celebrating Pride month and our most read books; Heartstopper by @AliceOseman. With the help, resources and 'gold dust' goodies from our very own local bookshop @kibworthbooks, here is our library display @KibMeadAcad @DrPThompson
We hosted 2 virtual author talks in our library this week with @jeffreykboakye and @HelenRutterUK as part of our @Reading_Rampage programme . They were brilliant! Our students were completely engaged with both authors and interacted with them very well. @MidlandsCLS @DrPThompson
3 of our students took a different approach to portray Piano at the Station by @HelenRutterUK. They had a fun afternoon making musical themed cakes and a booklet of the process! Fabulous work ! @Reading_Rampage @MidlandsCLS @DrPThompson
The Piano in the Station by @HelenRutterUK is another popular choice for our Reading Rampagers! Here is another trailer by 2 of our students hoping to inspire more readers. Well done, fabulous work! @Reading_Rampage @MidlandsCLS @DrPThompson
They are coming thick and fast...another of Reading Rampagers has produced this fabulous trailer for The House Trap by @emmydee73 @chickenhsebooks . Fabulous work! @DrPThompson @Reading_Rampage @MidlandsCLS #brilliant
