🎮 SOCOM II LEGACY: COMMUNITY PLAYTEST STARTS TODAY AT 5 PM CST! Our team has been working hard to bring SOCOM II to your browser as an open-source, community-driven project while preserving the gunplay, movement, and feel we all remember. We’re a little over 30 days into this project, and today we get to share that progress with you! The community is a big part of where this goes next. Your playtests, bug reports, ideas, and feedback will help us prioritize fixes, choose future maps, and consider new features. Opening the code and the Socom Forge gives others the opportunity to contribute and build on what we’ve started. We want SOCOM fans to have a voice and the tools to help shape its future. 🗺️ FOUR MAPS AVAILABLE • Frostfire • Crossroads • Vigilance • Night Stalker We’ve been working on the original weapons and loadouts, Weapon Exchange, taunts, victory dances, music, sounds, and familiar menus. Alongside those details, we’ve built online lobbies, voice chat, friends, clans, player stats, and shareable invite links so getting your crew into a match is easier. Playable on PC, Mac, mobile, and Xbox through the browser. Performance and compatibility will vary by device. This is an alpha playtest, so expect some bugs and things we’re still working through.
