kodava tribe

Kodava community may be small, but our contribution to India continues to speak volumes. 🇮🇳

Happy Kailpodh!

👏🏼 @ASPonnanna @as_ponnanna

Yesterday, we showed the act. Today, here’s the aftermath, the waste he dumped is still floating in the Cauvery. A picture says everything.

Kodagu is not a dumping ground! 🚫 Tourists throwing waste into the River Kaveri at Kodangeri is deeply disappointing. The Kaveri is our lifeline and a sacred part of Kodagu’s identity. If you visit Kodagu, respect its rivers, forests and people. Carry your waste back!
