They awarded it to Alfredo Di StΓ©fano, who never played in World Cup, but recognised as the greatest European player of his era and for his dominance in European Cup (champions League) history.
Using same criteria in 2029, France Football ππππ give the Super Ballon dβOr to Cristiano Ronaldo, given his dominance in the UEFA Champions League.

Ten Hag asked Ronaldo to train with the academy players and locked him out of the dressing room. Ronaldo tried to enter the dressing room for his kits to train and the staff said he has been banned, Ronaldo had to send an academy player to go get his boots. United fans didnβt see anything wrong with it. They havenβt seen anything yet
