Since Buc-ee’s said they won't do business in blue states, I expect a press release today saying they are closing up shop in Arizona and Texas. 😁🀷

Here to remind everyone that CONGRESS has authority to override a veto by the president with 2/3 majority support. It's that way on purpose in case we ever have a crazed, angry, wannabe dictator in charge.
Out here worried about trump vetoing everything Dems pass when all Dems need to do is send Abdul El-Sayed to the White House in a tight pants and shirt to meet with trump for 2 seconds and that man will not remember what a veto is.

I can't believe how much i miss Mittens these days...
Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

As a reminder: Trump was always a democrat until someone told him he could fool Republicans into getting him elected. Now that the Dems are in control of the senate and house and he cant be re-elected, watch how he moves to Blue again. But we will NEVER forget this. Ever.
Trump has been asking advisers whether to fire Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth following Republicans’ devastating losses Tuesday night. β€” CBS News

At my last Bills game, we hung out with a group of Canadian guys. We talked openly about what had been happening here in the US and our group promised them we would do our part to try and fix the brokenness. Proud to say we delivered, but still a lot of work ahead. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ’™πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ¦¬πŸˆ

While we still have a lot of almost dead Olds in office; they are dying off and it's FINALLY time for a new era of politician to take over. Hopefully a diverse, educated, non partisan group that will govern for the people that elected them.
Abdul El-Sayed walked out to Tupac's "Changes" for his acceptance speech He's such a millennial 😭

Trump will REMAIN President, but what he CAN'T do now: 1. *Can't pass any law:* Needs Parliament. With Democrats at 90, all his bills will be blocked. 2. *Can't get money:* Parliament controls the budget. No funding for his MAGA projects, Wall etc. 3. *Faces Impeachment Risk:* Democrats can start investigations and even move impeachment. 4. *Can't appoint Judges/Officials freely:* Senate will block his picks. 5. *Can't do big foreign deals:* Trade deals, war funding needs Parliament nod. In short: He will stay in the White House, sign Executive Orders, but Parliament and Courts can overturn them. He becomes a *Lame Duck President* - President in name, powerless in reality. #USMidterms

Hate and division will not win. πŸ’™πŸŒŠ
Tonight, the American people sent a clear message β€” they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face. These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country β€” including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy. While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.
