after an incredible ~6yrs. at @DCGco and @FoundryServices, am happy to say @dougiebuckets and I have started @adjacent___ building an index company for event contracts.

We are excited to announce we have raised a pre-seed from @carterkev at Night Capital, @vaneck_us, @eightyhi and @nostroah at @ufo_holdings, @Maven11Capital and @DCGco to build an independent index business for event contracts and prediction markets.

thoughts ive had lately... full article on the @plaintext_cap blog... DePINs have proven the efficacy of crypto in building the supply side of digital commodities. The AI craze has turned data into digital gold (or maybe spice @gregosuri ?), and DePINs can capitalize on this.

BlackRock is launching TXSE, competitor to NYSE.
They’ll create an Ethereum L2 for this exchange.
SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce wants to create a "sandbox" for issuing, trading and settlements of securities on a distributed ledger.
Where will this sandbox run? Probably on the new TXSE.
Why?
Larry Fink(CEO of BlackRock) kept talking about Tokenization for the last 2 years.
This exchange will become the first Tokenized securities exchange in the US.
The securities market is HUGE.
Built on Ethereum.
