🎃🌧️ Kokomo Scanner Forecast: A Damp Start to Halloween, But Better Weather for Trick-or-Treating! 👻🍬 Good morning, Kokomo fam, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We're starting this Saturday morning at around 55°F, with cloudy skies and some light rain moving through portions of Howard County and surrounding areas. It's not exactly the sunny Halloween we might have hoped for, but there's some good news for all those little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses heading out later today! Quick Take: 🌡️ Current Temperature: 54–55°F 🥶 Feels Like: Around 52° 🌧️ Morning: Scattered light rain and cloudy skies ☁️ Afternoon: Mostly cloudy, with rain chances dropping considerably 🌡️ High Today: Around 67°F 🌧️ Rain Chance: Around 35–40% overall, mainly this morning 💨 Wind: East-southeast at 10–15 mph 🌙 Tonight: Overcast, low around 53° 🍂 Sunday: Cloudy and mild, high near 69°, with just a 15% chance of rain 🎃 HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREAT FORECAST! Here's the part everyone with kids has been waiting for! While we're dealing with some light rain early this morning, the hourly forecast shows rain chances dropping significantly by midmorning and remaining very low throughout the afternoon and evening. By the time most trick-or-treating activities get underway, temperatures should be in the lower to mid-60s, gradually falling into the upper 50s later in the evening. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, but at this point, the forecast looks pretty favorable for getting out and collecting some candy without needing an umbrella. Of course, this is Indiana, so we'll keep an eye on things! 👻 A FEW HALLOWEEN REMINDERS! With plenty of little ones out walking neighborhoods tonight, drivers need to slow down and pay extra attention, especially around intersections and parked vehicles. Parents, make sure costumes are visible to motorists, carry a flashlight, and remind the kids to look both ways before crossing streets. And remember, those excited little trick-or-treaters aren't always paying attention to traffic. That's where the rest of us come in! 🎃 Today's vibe: Mother Nature decided to throw a little rain into the Halloween decorations this morning, but apparently she's planning to put the hose away before the candy collecting begins. 😂 Not a bad Halloween forecast overall, especially considering we're heading into November tomorrow! Enjoy your Halloween, Kokomo fam! Have fun, watch out for the little ghosts and goblins, and try not to eat all the candy before the trick-or-treaters arrive! Stay safe, stay spooky, and stay scanning, Kokomo! 🎃👻📡 #KokomoScanner #KokomoWeather #HowardCounty #Halloween2026 #TrickOrTreat #HalloweenForecast
