Many people are digging into $INK contracts, staking, premarket stuff right now real alpha, respect to that
- But how many of you know there was a role called Keeper in the @inkonchain server?
- It didn't exist from the start the team brought it in later, once they saw who was genuinely showing up and helping the community.
- It was given to the people who were most active, supportive, and engaging during the early days Q4 2024. Basically a quasi-mod role.
There were 11 Keepers total (+1/-1), across 4 tiers. At the top sat Elder Keeper ,only 5 people (+1/-1), granted directly by the team. Nothing ranks higher than this unless you're an official $INK team member.
Ink now has 106,000+ members. That makes this role top 0.01%.
I still remember what the team said before they turned the server into read-only mode on april 2025 before token announcement, In the Keeper channel, an Ink team member wrote:

Let's see how it plays out for the highest role holder in a chain backed by @krakenfx . Imagine the kind of reward a role like this would pull in almost any other project.
Final note โ this isn't only about the Keeper role. It's also for the community that's supported $Ink since the testnet phase. I keep seeing people ask, " do we get the Ink airdrop as early supporters?" C'mon, do you really think a team that built Kraken would forget the people who've been supporting them since $Ink was a baby, and only reward points holders who started engaging in Q4 2025? I don't think so everything going to be fine in the end ๐

Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineerโs laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the companyโs funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
