So incredibly disappointed in the lack of visitor support for patients in crisis @StonyBrookMed . It was decided I would do better at home. I love my doctors, nurses, and the staff. Seven days without support is inhumane. First, do no harm.

I’ve been admitted. Liver is now in trouble with active mets that grew a lot in 6 weeks. They said I’m in big trouble. But I’ve got a bigger God, faith, & have gotten out of trouble before. Also got so much fruit from virtual family, I shared with staff. 🌹❤️🌊 My @Oprah moment.

#SBRT round four done. Beyond exhausted. Taking off work tomorrow. Calcium is down, so that is good news. They’ve never seen a patient like me. I reminded them, I’m the unicorn of the cancer world. Rising like a Phoenix from the ashes every time.

My former colleague, 2nd grade teacher to my daughter, literacy coach, asst principal, friend, sister came by to see me. She reminded me who I am. The daughter of a king. I will love this woman forever. It’s about relationships, people. She could write the book.❤️
