🔔 오랜만에 다시 모인 서치파이 식구들, 반가움이 가득했던 저녁!
정말 몇 달 만에 서치파이 식구들과 소소하지만 따뜻한 모임을 가졌습니다. 이번 모임은 하율아빠의 서울 귀경을 축하하고, 2주 뒤 다시 멕시코로 떠나는 지니누나의 송별회도 겸해서 마련된 자리였어요.
바쁜 일상 속에서도 시간을 내어주신 서치파이 식구들과 몇몇 반가운 분들이 함께해 주셨습니다.
오랜만에 만났는데도 어색함은 하나도 없고, 마치 어제 만났던 것처럼 편안하고 반갑더라고요. 역시 좋은 인연은 시간이 지나도 변하지 않나 봅니다.

🍻 2차는 정겨운 분위기의 실내 포장마차에서!
맛있는 음식도 먹고, 그동안 못 나눴던 이야기도 나누고, 웃고 떠들다 보니 어느새 시간이 훌쩍 지나가 버렸네요.
마음 같아서는 3차까지 달리고 싶었지만, 아쉽게도 시간 관계상 2차를 끝으로 저는 복귀했습니다. ㅎㅎ
그리고 이번 모임에는 또 하나의 따뜻한 마음이 함께했는데요.
비록 현장에는 참석하지 못하셨지만, 애플파운더께서 보내주신 깜짝 선물까지!!
멀리서도 서치파이 식구들을 생각해 주시는 그 마음이 정말 감사했습니다. 덕분에 모임이 한층 더 풍성하고 즐거워졌네요. 직접 함께하지 못해도 이렇게 마음을 나눌 수 있다는 게 참 좋았습니다. ❤️
생각해 보면 서치파이라는 인연으로 처음 만났지만, 이제는 프로젝트를 넘어 서로의 안부를 묻고 일상을 나누는 소중한 사람들이 된 것 같습니다.
함께하는 시간이 길지 않아도, 그 안에 담긴 웃음과 따뜻함은 오래 기억에 남는 것 같아요.
2주 뒤 다시 멕시코로 떠나는 지니누나도 다시 한국으로 오는 날까지 항상 건강하게 잘 다녀오시고, 하율아빠도 최우수상 축하하고 연말 서치파이 밋업일에 보는걸로...
오늘 함께해 주신 모든 분들, 그리고 멀리서도 따뜻한 마음을 전해주신 애플파운더께도 감사드립니다.
다음에는 조금 더 많은 서치파이 식구들과 함께할 수 있으면 좋겠네요.
자주 만나지는 못해도, 만나면 늘 반갑고 헤어질 때는 아쉬운 사람들. 체리, 실버, 으노아버지, 루팡, 상호형 외 서치파이 가족분들과의 소중한 인연이 오래오래 이어졌으면 좋겠습니다. 🥰
차드가 있었으면 한층 더 기분이 업이 되었을텐데 너무 아쉽네요.

Now that this year’s KBW is wrapped up
I want to share a personal experience from last year’s KBW.
Up until early this year I was a die hard believer in @pudgypenguins and @AbstractChain
Last year I literally flew from the US to Korea just for KBW mainly because I genuinely wanted to meet the Pudgy and Abstract teams in person
Before flying out I spent weeks planning gifts for them. I ordered traditional Korean wrapping cloths, norigae ornaments, cultural souvenirs, and handwritten letters
I personally wrapped 10 full gift bags for 10 individual team members
On the day of their meetup it happened to overlap with the Seoul International Fireworks Festival.
Traffic was completely shut down, the streets were jam packed and you could barely take a step
I took a cab as close as I could then lugged all 10 heavy bags through the chaotic crowd just to hand them directly to the team
I didn't want anything in return
I genuinely just wanted them to feel welcomed in Korea to know how much the Korean community loved the brand and for them to take home unforgettable memories
And what happened after?
Out of the 10 people who received those gifts literally zero not a single person sent a message saying "Thank you" or even basic "Hey got the gifts appreciate it"
Did they not know how to contact me? Every single bag included a custom business card with a direct QR code linked to my twitter and telegram DM
I didn’t do it for clout and I wasn't expecting special treatment but months later it hit me "not a single damn message"
For a moment I gaslit myself.
Was I being too traditional? Is it just a cultural difference between Korea and the West?
Then I remembered I live in the US 🤣
This isn't about cultural differences. When someone travels across the globe fights through a massive crowd and hands you a personalized, thoughtful gift, sending 5s "Hey received it safely" is not cultural it’s basic human decency.
And they couldn't even manage that.
That was the moment I realized never pour your heart into a web3 project or idolize team.
In the end the only idiot who gets hurt is you.
Also projects gearing up for TGE usually go all out hosting events at major conferences like KBW.
Last year, Abstract hosted plenty of events themselves
This year? Literally ZERO
Makes you wonder why🤔
Abstract is already swimming in FUD
and this is how an active team member chooses to behave?
Raj knows damn well how the community feels about Phin.
Posting photos together, playing dumb with "why can't friends just hang out?" and then doubling down with drinking pics to literally mock their own community?
Hang out with whoever you want in private,
but publicly clowning the very holders backing your chain while on the payroll is peak room temperature IQ
If Raj has this little awareness, what does that say about the leadership that hired him? Massive red flag for @AbstractChain.

Something caught my eye today: the @ottoclubhouse NFTs looked very familiar. I then found an NFT image from 2022 and ran a search on X.
It’s the similar art, but upgraded.
The name is virtually identical.
A bit strange for a $250 mint.
My intention isn't to create FUD, I just think some clarification would be helpful.

🚨🚨🚨 Plooshies has announced plans to launch a game on Robinhood.
So what happens to the Abstract NFT holders?
Are they simply being abandoned and left behind?
A quick reminder about $CUDDLE / @ThePlooshies.
I invested in January 2025 and waited patiently for over a year.
I never blamed them for delays, price performance, or even the possibility of failure. Those are risks I accepted as an investor.
They promised updates every 2–3 weeks, but not a single update was provided. Even on the final promised date, January 26, 2026, I had to reach out first.
It has now been approximately 1 year and 9 months, and I still haven’t received any meaningful updates. My messages continue to go unanswered.
I’m bringing the tweet below back to attention in the hope that no one else has to go through the same experience.
Before funding and after funding are two very different stories.
If there are other victims @ThePlooshies who have experienced a similar situation, please feel free to contact me.
Web3 is still full of interesting experiences, for better or worse. 🙂

Reply : “Please be assured that we are doing our best to deliver a satisfactory outcome for all investors. The token launch date has been confirmed as either December 25 or January 26. Until then, we will provide regular updates at least every 2–3 weeks.”
I did not pressure or rush him at any point.
I waited until January 26, 2026, the date he mentioned.
On the day of that final promised date, I was the one who reached out "first".
The only thing I received in return was a single PDF.
I do not blame them if the token price drops or even if the launch ultimately fails. I accepted those risks when I chose to invest.
What made me completely lose trust in this project was the lack of respect shown toward its investors. Even the regular updates that were promised every 2–3 weeks were never delivered, not even once, even after a full year.
Without basic communication and accountability, what can a project realistically achieve in Web3?
At the very least, if he had reached out before January 26, acknowledged the delay, apologized, and shared a transparent update on the project’s status, I would have been willing to wait longer and continue supporting him.
