Good news: now you can take that bet on-chain, and this time he can't "forget" to pay you like the last three times, because the money sits in a contract.
That's @Daejinxyz: a prediction market network where anyone can launch a market on a real-world outcome, from crypto prices to sports and culture, and anyone can take YES or NO on it.

Now the other side: launching a market.
Daejin is running a thread contest on Superteam Earn right now (yes, the one this thread is for). It has 17 submissions so far, and the deadline is Oct 23.
So I made a market on it: will it reach 30 submissions?
I kept the design boring on purpose, because a market is only as good as its rules:
• one public number, the counter on the Earn page
• one check time, Oct 24 at 12:00 UTC
• one proof page, linked right in the rules
Bounties fill up like homework, mostly the night before the deadline, so 30 is a real question. And no, I can't bet on it myself: Daejin doesn't let creators trade their own markets.
You can bet on it, or go move the number yourself :)
Your move: find that "100% sure" friend, open a market, and make them put $5 where their mouth is.
Start small, read the Rules box before you buy, and treat the price as the crowd's guess, not a promise.

Beberapa hari ini rame banget soal perangkat hardware wallet yang ternyata sudah dimodif sebelum sampai ke tangan pembeli padahal segel masih utuh, dan dari reseller resmi tapi Isinya ternyata sudah bukan yang seharusnya.
Untungnya aku pakai @Tangem dan so far masih aman tanpa ada kendala, ada dua hal yang bisa kalian cek sendiri ketika kalian membeli Tangem Card/Ring
Pertama, private key dibuat di dalam secure chip (EAL6+) pas kalian aktivasi. Di mode seedless, key itu nggak pernah keluar dalam bentuk teks, jadi nggak ada recovery phrase yang perlu ditulis atau difoto.
Kedua, aplikasi @Tangem bisa verifikasi chip dan cek kartunya sudah pernah aktif atau belum. Kartu baru seharusnya belum aktif. Kalau ternyata sudah aktif duluan, jangan transfer aset dulu, hubungi support resmi Tangem. dan FYI garansi Tangem itu selama 25 Tahun! 🔥
