And…the DOJ has notified Douglas County that it wants to send observers there. Again, all election observers need to be granted approval by the Secretary of State’s Office.
DOJ election monitors are coming to Adams County, Colo., the blue county in the hotly contested 8th Congressional District.
On Oct. 9, the state removed DOJ exemption, now requiring DOJ to request observer access through the Secretary of State’s Office.

not sure what part of this statement is the worst part. there are several contenders.
Broncos OLB Jonathon Cooper, who has pled not guilty to all charges, on what he'd say to female fans about his domestic-related incidents that led to 2 arrests in June: “Honestly, that’s hard. I feel like relationships are difficult. No excuses on my end. And I do apologize for anybody’s feelings, truthfully just because they have to be associated with me.
“I’m a grown man, I’m able to take things on the chin. I just want to say I understand the concern, I understand the level of awareness. How serious these matters are. But the legal matter will take care of themselves and, yeah, things happen. Nobody’s perfect. But also there’s no excuses and I do hold myself accountable and things are going to sort themselves out I promise that.”

A useful primer from @MichaelDBrown on how campaign spending usually works - and how it’s working in one very unusual campaign in Colorado this year
Monday afternoon, @victormarx asked supporters for $100,000 to put TV commercials on the air.
Monday night, his campaign filed its report for the first two weeks of October. The biggest check he wrote went to his lawyers: $30,750. Everything he spent on advertising in those same two weeks: $30,503.88.
The lawyers out-billed the ads.
I went through his state filings and the public political files at 11 TV stations in Denver, Colorado Springs and Grand Junction. Not one Marx ad contract. Fifteen days out, with ballots already coming back.
I wrote a primer on how campaign money is supposed to work, and how you can check any campaign yourself in about 10 minutes. Republican or Democrat.

Victor Marx sent out a fundraising appeal tonight, two weeks from Election Day, seeking $100K to run TV ads. To say that would be too little too late for a statewide race is an understatement. #copolitics
