Forget about the Roman Empire, what if the rest of America was as smart as Minnesota in 1984.

Millennials may be a passover generation like Gen X but at least we have Levels. Gen Z doesn’t have anything close

It is false to suggest—as some recently have—that our patents are being used to prevent access to SIRTURO® (bedaquiline), our medicine for MDR-TB. In fact, we have already entered into a collaboration with the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Drug Facility (“GDF”)—the largest procurer of TB medicines—which enables them to invite potential generic suppliers and purchase generic versions of SIRTURO® 100mg. On April 5, during a World Health Organization meeting, the GDF shared its intent to launch a tender for generic versions of SIRTURO® 100mg in the third quarter of 2023: social.jnj.com/3XSgjRZ In addition, we have shipped more than 660,000 courses of SIRTURO® to 159 countries since launch. Our patents made this possible, enabling us to assist countries to scale-up their use of our medicine responsibly and sustainably and invest in multiple, critical, anti-TB efforts. For instance, in the face of rising drug resistance, we support stewardship efforts that ensure MDR-TB patients can benefit from our medicine today and in the future. Unfortunately, the most significant barrier to treatment access for patients today is the fact that millions of patients with TB go undiagnosed every year. This is a challenge that we have invested significant resources to overcome and must all get behind if we are to achieve the global goal of ending TB.

This is quite the thread, but also, not surprising
DOJ just released the report from its two-year investigation of the Minneapolis police department. Here's a thread of notable excerpts. This first one happened *while a DOJ investigator was on a ride-along.*

I love when theres a minor problem, but people just keep ignoring it, then it eventually lands on your desk…. When it is an impossible task and needs to be dealt with immediately.

Number 1 complaint in the comments is this will increase prices- even if it does, wouldn’t you rather pay 10% more and know the airline has a more vested interest in getting you where you are trying to go in a timely manner?
The Biden administration is working on new regulations that would require airlines to compensate passengers — beyond a ticket refund — and cover their meals and hotel rooms if they are stranded for reasons within the airline’s control. apnews.com/article/airlines-…

Also the airlines that are less reliable will end up wanting to charge more to cover their inefficiency and will price themselves out of customers

Hey @markhoppus if you’re taking requests for tonight I’d like to hear “Built this Pool”, thanks.

I’m not sure if this is sarcasm
What a scary offense the Falcons are going to have. Kyle Pitts. Drake London. Tyler Allgeier. Bijan Robinson.

I wasn’t able to get tickets to @Hozier @FirstAvenue, but that doesn’t change my opinion that the policy in place for that show should to be standard practice. I appreciate Hozier and First Ave for making an effort.

This is one of the worst polls I’ve seen, great options to choose from….
Replying to @robinsonmeyer
When asked whether the US should build renewables ‘quickly’ so as to reduce carbon pollution as fast as possible, or roll out renewables ‘slowly’ so as to not harm local plants and animals, Americans — by a nearly 4-to-1 margin — want to go slow. heatmap.news/climate/protect…

The crazy thing is they played together on a 7-6 ISU team last year
If Brock Purdy deserves to be a finalist for rookie of the year after playing six regular season games then Breece Hall does too send tweet

That’s a cowboy fan that made that bet. Speaking from experience as a jaded Vikings fan
Cowboys kicker Brett Maher opened as +500 to MISS a PAT at @SuperBookSports. Per @DavidPurdum, one bettor wagered $1,000 on Maher missing an XP. Amazing
