...that's brilliant (my Mom totally had that "sewing kit).
The only mimic that exists here in the real world

Well this is concerning.
BREAKING: The U.S. is preparing all major US military base to survive at least 90 days completely cut off from outside power, fuel, water and supplies, per Fox News.
The plan, called FORTRESS, is built for a major war that could cripple power grids and break supply chains on American soil.
Bases would run on portable nuclear reactors, large scale batteries and microgrids that can unplug from the civilian grid entirely.
"Ahh, time for a nice relaxing video game!"
The game in question 🤣:
I can get why not everyone is in love with the massive dose of Platform Hell in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse. "Mario Maker-ahh game," some have called it.
But I remember back on the 2nd level of the original* with those Medusa heads and moving platforms. So they couldn't have DREAMED of sequences like this back then, but platforming has always been a part of the series.
My only regret is that the awesome Vampire Killer mix wasn't kicking in when I finally pulled this off. Not every track is a banger, but so far the music definitely has it's moments.
*I actually started with Simon's Curse (hence why I tolerate no slander of it), but it had the platforming too!
The problem is, a LOT of people feel and express joy when "It's my side crushing THEM under their boots this time!"

"Far right vs far left" is a joke argument, a distraction. The real conflict in the world, remains as always, authoritarian government vs the rights of the individual.
Almost no one ever expresses relief that it's "my side crushing us under their boots this time"

They’re literally about to put a man away in Indiana for 50+ years because he killed a rapist who was released early and assaulted a beloved family member.
We live in a broken world. The reason there is so much animosity towards the government, be it Republican or Democrat is cases like this.
A man trying to get justice for what was done, but was denied justice, and then the perpetrator is let walk free..
You disgusting politicians are going to have to give us a solid reason to preserve the government that you are party to, or eventually this will boil over and we will burn it all down just to feel some warmth again.
There is no reason a man who was trying to settle a score like this should be convicted and sent to prison. It’s the justice system that is time and again proving itself to illegitimate.
WE are not the extremists for saying it. Keep denying good people the balance of justice and there will be no reason to preserve any of you.
Hal overcomes his fear of letting people in....and almost immediately gets murdered as a result of it.

An alleged lawyer wrote this brief. A lawyer with a JD and license to practice law wrote that the government is here to protect us from tyranny and put it in a legal brief for SCOTUS. A lawyer that will have to defend this statement in front of Justices Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch. They have obviously never seen or read how Justice Thomas eviscerates lawyers who say something dumb. I very much look forward to this oral argument. 😏

Cook County argues resisting tyranny is not a valid purpose anymore, because the government will handle resisting tyranny for us.
After seeing Tarja and Marko not only reconcile, but collaborate on multiple songs, I'm trying to find the silver lining in the Nightwish situation at least...
Having sex in a house of worship is downright depraved, IMO.
But it's NOT a capital offense in any sane and civilized country.
Evil is evil, the "laws of the land" be damned.
If nothing is sacred in your worldview, that's your choice. But for Muslims, the Sacred Mosque in Makkah is holy, and its sanctity must be respected. There are rules and laws governing it.
The individuals involved were not a married couple. They were co-workers, not spouses. The issue was not a simple kiss, as some online narratives claim. They were accused of engaging in sexual activity in one of the most sacred places in Islam.
Even for a lawfully married couple, sexual relations while in the state of Ihram are prohibited during pilgrimage. In this case, the allegation is not only that they engaged in a major sin, but that they did so within the Sacred Mosque itself, violating the sanctity of a place revered by over a billion Muslims.
Law is law. It is bigger than your emotions.
I don't know anyone on the bus who's very enthusiastic about NOT driving us off the cliff.
Well, there was one guy I'd trust behind the wheel, but the people running a completely different bus line got him kicked off the bus (@RepThomasMassie ).

Happy 8 years to the best scene ever in this whole franchise (imo),the fact that charlie filmed it 4 times to make it look perfect, all this hard work really paid off.
People will justify this. And the looting and destruction of everything from big name stores to family businesses, in the name of "justice." "They HAVE to do this, to show the government they mean businesses!"
Bullshit.
"The government" isn't a concept. It's people. People with addresses.
Imagine me getting angry at a county commissioner, and going and burning my neighbor's house down (said neighbor who actually might be mad at that commissioner himself) and thinking I'd done something good and worthwhile.
