We did it!!! Felt like everything was against us: grouchy ankles, knees and hips, insane blisters, mud and puddle hopping/slipping, and enduring every weather you can think of. But we did it and I’m so proud of myself and my running bestie!! 50 mile ultra ✅ ✅ ✅

DNF at Manchester Marathon yesterday was a horrible experience. A really bad day. Got home to find my Manchester to Liverpool Ultra (M2L 50) shirt from 10 days ago had been delivered. Little reminder that I haven’t always been this bad. @L2MUltra @Marathon_Mcr

Just found this photo on @L2MUltra socials. It was a sprint finish! Sprints being generous! Smiling cos I could see the finish. Thx to the volunteer who grabbed my rucksack and bought it across finish line so tracker could update I'd finished.😂😂 justgiving.com/page/usinghbo…

M2L (Manchester to Liverpool) 50 Ultra. I went through so many emotions, a major crisis and 2 heavy falls. Far from perfect day but the struggle makes finishing all the more glorious. 🏁 At check points EVERY runner was made to feel like a VIP. The staff were wonderful @L2MUltra

@L2MUltra What a superb day. I did this for various reasons, and ticked them all. A great event, super organisation, and great camaraderie on the trail. A little broken this morning. Will linger long in memory
