Very soon, APC will start playing the tribal card that the Hausa want the Yoruba out of government. Lol, I can't even wait. This wasteful spending of our money must stop.

Good morning everyone, last night was long. We couldn’t sleep.
Wife of the president, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu donated about 50 buses to OAU, donated vehicles to APC women leaders across the country, and there was also news around July that she donated buses to the APC Youth Wing, all in her name. The same goes for David Umahi, who donated buses to student associations. Today, it is Dayo Israel’s turn, with the donation reportedly made through the First Lady, even though she has probably donated to the APC Youth Wing before. I can’t help but wonder how many donations have been going on behind the scenes while the masses continue to lament their poor living conditions. This makes me think the issue is not even about Dayo Israel alone, but about a government that has repeatedly told Nigerians to endure while all these things are happening. Even if donations must be made, do they always have to involve such expensive vehicles? Must they happen more than once, to a particular group, especially when Nigerians are being asked to endure economic hardship? Omo, like I said, making it into the inner circle of this government must be like performing a ritual. 😊🙇🏽 The future of this country is in God’s hands, because everyone seems to want to be part of that circle.

Somebody needs to tell Tinubu that the reaction from Kaduna yesterday reflects how many Nigerians feel. We don’t care about your bogus statistics. We care about human capital development, more money in our pockets, and the welfare of ordinary Nigerians. Has our standard of living improved in the last four years? Can we afford petrol? Is food cheaper? Do we have more purchasing power? These are the questions Tinubu needs to ask himself. His yes men need to stop feeding him statistics and tell him the truth, Nigerians struggling to survive. #TMG is global

I hear my opponent talk about hunger and poverty. Who created it? They did. They created poverty; they created hunger. We are trying to eradicate it. We pay salaries regularly. Our governors are working. - President Tinubu today at the APC presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna

I am not surprised by the recent alleged looting of Osun State LG Secretariats by the court sacked APC Yes or no Chairmen across the state. They learned well from their leaders. They looted the State Government House after their defeat in 2022. Their days in the LG are numbered.

PRESS RELEASE Prof. Chinwe Obauku Represents Governor Adeleke at First National Volunteer Conference, Emphasises Collective Responsibility for National Development Osogbo, Osun State | Friday, 23 October 2026 The Director-General and Special Envoy to the Governor of Osun State on Climate Change and Renewable Energy, Prof. Chinwe Obauku, has represented the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, at the First National Volunteer Conference of Nigeria, held at the International Event Centre (The Dome), Igbatoro Road, Akure, Ondo State. The conference, organised by the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) and Ondo State Government, was themed “Every Contribution Matters” and focused on the importance of volunteerism in promoting national development, social inclusion, peacebuilding and community advancement. Delivering the Governor’s address on his behalf, Prof. Obauku emphasised that meaningful societal transformation does not depend solely on government policies or substantial financial resources, but also on the willingness of individuals to contribute their time, knowledge, skills and resources towards improving the lives of others. The address commended the United Nations Volunteers for its commitment to promoting volunteerism as an instrument for development, peace and social inclusion. It also acknowledged the Government and people of Ondo State for hosting the conference and bringing together stakeholders committed to making a positive difference in society. Highlighting the role of volunteerism in national development, the Governor noted that while government has the responsibility to provide essential services, including infrastructure, education, healthcare and security, building a better society becomes more achievable when citizens, community organisations, businesses and development partners complement these efforts. The address further underscored the importance of volunteerism in youth development, noting that opportunities for young people to participate in community service, mentorship, leadership programmes and development initiatives can equip them with practical skills, strengthen teamwork and prepare them for future employment and leadership responsibilities. It also drew attention to the value of everyday acts of service, including supporting vulnerable families, teaching children, participating in environmental sanitation, assisting during emergencies and mentoring young people. Though such contributions may not always attract public recognition, they remain essential to building stronger and more resilient communities. Reaffirming the Osun State Government’s commitment to community participation, youth empowerment and sustainable development, the address highlighted the administration’s focus on improving the welfare of the people and promoting inclusive growth. The conference’s theme, “Every Contribution Matters,” serves as a reminder that every citizen has a role to play in building a better society. From individual acts of kindness to organised community initiatives, collective action remains a valuable pathway to addressing social and environmental challenges and advancing sustainable development. Prof. Obauku’s representation of the Governor at the conference reflects Osun State’s participation in national conversations on volunteerism, civic engagement and inclusive development, while reinforcing the importance of partnerships between government and citizens in achieving shared development goals. The central message remains clear: sustainable development is a shared responsibility, and every meaningful contribution counts. Office of the Director-General and Special Envoy to the Governor of Osun State on Climate Change and Renewable Energy.
