When I think back to when Chukkie issued that ridiculous statement about H&M being ‘Private Citizens’, to me it was stupid, pointless & frankly untrue! How can the son and DiL of the monarch be mere private citizens? They also added that when H&M carry out charitable visits etc, ‘they do not represent the sovereign’. Why would they ever want to represent a bunch of ineffective, lazy, irrelevant people? If it wasn’t that they are family, I’m sure H&M would not even want to be associated with them!
