AstraZeneca closed up 7% on Friday on 760 posts, half again a usual day of mentions. For a $290 billion company that is a rounding error of attention. Is a quiet move a cleaner read than a loud one?

Reddit's answer to shrinking Google referrals is to test making people log in, per CNBC. Its own users run both sides of that argument: one camp blames AI and wants the gates shut, the other calls the login wall invasive. The stock closed down 29% Friday and the conversation got about 1.6 times louder. Which camp is the business?

Palantir ($PLTR) reports tonight, and before the bell its room is already fuller than a normal full day: about 1,900 separate accounts. The busiest Palantir day of the last twelve months was last November's print, near 5,200 accounts. Our call: tonight beats it.
62
Revenue went backwards at Check Point ($CHKP), reported before the open. Two hours in, the entire global conversation about it runs near 100 separate accounts an hour, against 69 an hour over the previous day. A fifteen-billion-dollar security company can shrink and still not fill a lecture hall. Which other name that size does nobody talk about?

Going into Wednesday's report, the tone around Qualcomm reads 95% positive. Look at who is producing it: about 1,500 accounts a day this month, and the loudest single voice is Snapdragon's own YouTube channel. That 95% is a product review score wearing a sentiment label.

The biggest company on earth reports Monday with the week's smallest room. About 2,100 accounts a day posted about Apple ($AAPL) in October. Uber reports Wednesday and drew thirteen times that, mostly an argument about robotaxis. Our call: Monday doubles Apple's room, Wednesday barely moves Uber's.

Screen US stocks by engagement today and Coca-Cola ($KO) lands above Nvidia at a twelfth of the market value. Underneath: Coke's loudest accounts are meme channels, most of it off YouTube. Volume says a brand is everywhere. It doesn't say anyone's trading it.

Chips dragged the Nasdaq to a 2.8% close, and the chip crowd got bigger every hour on the way down. Accounts posting about AMD rose about 30% between early morning and mid-afternoon, and they rose in every hour in between. Our call: the room is quieter by Monday, not louder.
37
Roblox ($RBLX) guided Q4 bookings down 10% to 15% on Thursday's call, and the reaction was about 18 times a normal day of conversation. A day later the room is still filling up, still arguing about EU child safety rules, still praising a game called Steal An Egg. Our take: the people who showed up for that number are not the people who own the stock.

Regeneron's room tripled this morning and then talked about everything except the quarter. The 36% revenue jump is in the release; the conversation is a new FDA approval, the Dupixent run, and what the melanoma readout does next. Sentiment barely moved. For a biotech, is the print ever the story?
48
Glaukos ($GKOS) makes eye implants, and on Thursday it closed up 33.7%. Its whole day of conversation fit inside 208 accounts. Our call: the crowd arrives for the next print, not this one.
38
Sandisk ($SNDK) is splitting its stock eight for one, the move a board makes when a four-figure share price has become an obstacle. Its crowd cooled 8 points against the week anyway, the sourest tone in nearly two weeks. A split is the friendliest announcement a board can make, and this room gave it nothing.
92
More accounts posted about Fortinet ($FTNT) yesterday than on any day in the past month, about 3.6 times its usual. The stock closed down 20%. And the room still cannot agree on what the release said: the supportive half calls it a beat, the critical half a miss. Our take: a split verdict after a 20% day is a crowd that got blindsided, not one that saw it coming.

Thursday's selling was a Nasdaq problem, but the exchange people talked about was the other one. Conversation about the New York Stock Exchange ran four times its usual pace, its widest crowd in a month. Nasdaq's looked like any other day. Rotation, or the GM listing switch?
39
Exxon's release this morning carried a $20 billion buyback for 2027. Conversation about the company is running about 1.6 times a normal hour since, and barely any of the lift is new accounts. If a number that size cannot widen a mega-cap's audience, what can?
