@scoutradio where are the party classics like Macarena and Saturday night? You started them too late last night and got shut down!
Volunteering at Scouts isn’t just about changing young people’s lives. It’s about doing something that’s #GoodForYou too. Good for your health and happiness, good for developing skills, and good for making friends. Find your local volunteering opportunity: leatherheaddistrictscouts.or…

3rd Bookham Scouts had an awesome time firelighting last night. You're never too young or too old to learn new skills, so join us as a member or an adult volunteer!

We're back face to face! Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers across our District have been meeting outside this week. It's great to see everyone back having fun together. @surreyscouts @UKScouting
We were saddened to hear of the death of HRH Prince Philip, husband of our Patron Her Majesty the Queen. We are keeping his family in our thoughts at this time.

Becoming a volunteer in Scouting can be the best thing you do this year. With training & ongoing support from our team, personal development is often mentioned as a great reason to try it out. For more info leatherheaddistrictscouts.or… @surreyscouts @UKScouting #scouts #skillsforlife
The 22nd of February marks Founders Day in Scouting, and as you know we have carried on throughout the last year; providing a positive and safe place for young people to be themselves, continue friendships and develop their Skills for Life. Thank you to our volunteers.
Today we challenge you to get creative! Have a go at mobile photography, and host your own exhibition at home. Try these different techniques and choose your favorite with your family. From Leatherhead District Scouts

It's Pancake Day! If we know our Scouts, they will be begging to make and eat pancakes all day long. If you're thinking 'flippin' heck' how can I make it different this year, try some of these funky pancake recipes. Got leftover batter? How many flips can you do in 30 seconds!
.. and here is the route map around Leatherhead too. Share your pictures and let us know if you embark on one of the routes!
It's half term! If you are stuck for things to do, get your boots on and explore our wonderful local area. We've mapped 5 walk routes around our Groups local areas. Between 1/1.5 hrs, remember the countryside and highway code, and take extra care if you are walking on a road.
Stuck for weekend plans? Its @UKScouting Wintercamp from Friday to Sunday with so many activities and interactive sessions to take part in! If you are brave, you could sleep in a tent in the garden, but you might prefer building your camp indoors.

Thank you to our members, to our volunteers and to everyone in our Scouting family that has persevered through 2020. We have kept on Scouting, whether it's been in person or online.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and a great start to 2021!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 🎄☃ This year has been a challenge for us all, and we are extremely thankful to our volunteers that have gone the extra mile to continue delivering a superb program both online and in person.
All over the UK, Scouts would usually be parading to their local memorial or Church. They would bow their heads, lay a wreath and remember those that gave their lives for us.
We are unable to do this today in person, but we will all be taking a moment to pause and reflect.
Many of our groups have been able to actively meet and enjoy (socially distanced) activities this term. Sadly, some groups across the country aren't so fortunate. #RaceRoundTheWorld is a sponsored challenge to help support such groups. Can you walk a sponsored mile to help them?
